Chapter 16: The Awareness Of Transformation

As your concerns about the world coming to an end abate,

you shall see a new awareness dawning within you. The awareness of hope, of positivity, of transformation. And you will begin to feel, Yes! This is possible.From the centre of your being a new wave will emerge and this wave shall help you to cleanse all the deeper aspects of your existence. Each day as you search yourself with the flash lights that you shine within, in all the dark corners, new aspects shall unfold that you were hitherto unaware of.

Sometimes you might even be surprised at all the stuff that will tumble out of the closets that you have intentionally kept closed for years and then there will be those that you never ever expected to find. Be prepared to be surprised. This is going to be as adventurous as a roller coaster ride.

Never hesitate even for a moment to walk into the dark alleys of your truths. They can only be discovered if you dare to go where you would normally never tread. This is why your commitment was the first important step; because once you make the promise to yourself, you can never go against your own word.

But dark alleys can be terrifying?

Yes: only if you want to be terrified, if you allow yourself to be terrified. But if you decide that you are willing to accept the truth and look it straight in the eye then no matter how horrible or unpleasant the truth might be, you will have the courage to withstand it, and change it, and transform it.

There’s no doubt that it will take enormous staying power and the will to do good, but would you have got this far if you didn’t have those pre-requisites? Would you? And so understand that commitment equals to power. Commitment means you choose to deal with the pain and transmute it.

And who, we ask, has the capacity to transmute? Only an alchemist can perform such a feat. Now the only difference is that you are as yet unaware of your own powers, and through this process of inner discovery we want you to comprehend what you are capable of. So know that you already KNOW what and how things need to be done.

Once you go within, the doorways will lead you where you need to go. One by one each one of them will open up, for they will magically sense that you have arrived; to air them and clean away all the stored debris. And they will respond to the sound of your approaching footsteps and the sensors will deactivate the locks and so magically those doorways will spring open as you get closer.

This sounds kind of mystical- can it really happen this way?

A mystery is one which is as yet unsolved by you. The moment you solve it, it no longer remains mysterious. Once you have cleaned your first interior room, you will cease to find the process mysterious, but rather you will begin to notice the signs along the way that help you comprehend the map and gauge the landscape and soon you will be so familiar with your inner geography that you will know just how to get to where you want, and also how to give it whatever shape you choose.

Honestly this sounds like a lot of navigational skills are going to be required and I’m already feeling underprepared.

You need no preparation to undertake this journey. The navigational instruments are your inner awareness and desire and your intent. No other means are required to get to your intended destinations.

You mean if I just want to do this badly enough I can?

Yes that, and a sharp awareness that you constantly work at sharpening.

And how should I sharpen my awareness?

You know the principle of whatever you give your attention to grows don’t you? It has been broadcast all over the media intensively over the last decade. Have you not noticed dear one? Are you not familiar with this law?

Well yes, I have heard about it and you’re right, a lot has been said about it, but I’m still not sure how it works.

It’s very simple. At a very physical level also, you can try it. Just look away from this book  for a moment and focus on any one object around you. Keep looking at it until everything in its periphery disappears and nothing else remains except that object.  Now see how big it looks, how large and how magnified.

How did you do that dear one? Wasn’t it you who magnified it through your perception? Through your mind? YOU altered the size of your reality by merely looking at it. Do you understand? It didn’t take anything more than just your focus.

And as your awareness of it grew, to the exclusion of everything else, what you focused upon grew in direct proportion. So that is how simply the law operates and that is all that is required of you. Nothing more; it’s plain and simple FOCUS. That’s it.

Wow! That seems so simple and hardly mystical although the magnification still blows my mind.

Yes because your mind blows your reality. That’s how.

Well I didn’t quite see it that a way.

Never mind, so jokes apart, what we are saying is that as you proceed to unravel each layer you will see clearly what needs change, what must be dispensed with in order to create room for the light and then you will have to get about doing that which is required.

And I will know just what I will need to do?

Absolutely. You will.

And I don’t need to worry about whether I’ll be doing it right or messing things up further?

You always KNOW the right thing to do. It’s just that you choose not to focus on it.

Ok, so if I focus on doing the right thing then I’ll know exactly what needs to be done?

Focus and intent. Pure intent. Both these are valuable and none works to the exclusion of the other.

I get that. So where shall I begin?

At the most painful, most obvious part of your present existence. Ask yourself, Where do I hurt the most? In which relationship? Or, which part of my body or which situation causes me the most grief. Go to the one that’s screaming the loudest for your attention, for that’s the one that causes the heaviest burden and creates the deepest veil.

This is not easy

It isn’t meant to be a joy ride. That’s the reward you get when all the work is done.
